Fun Dives

Diving around Utila is enthralling, with coral structures that put most other worldwide locations to shame. Water temperatures range from 25.5 Celsius/78 Fahreheit in winter to 29 Celsius/84 Fahrenheit in summer, with visibility up to 40 meters/130 ft. From the north side walls to the spur and groove reef formations of the south side, you will quickly discover why Utila has been recognized as the area with the highest biodiversity in the entire Caribbean, with more than 350 species of reef fish and crustaceans.

Enjoy days of diving surrounded by some of the world’s greatest reefs as you search for seahorses, turtles, scorpion fish, lionfish and eagle rays. Night diving with us is characterized by sightings of octopus, reef squid, lobsters and many different crabs, with the odd soundings of the endemic large eyed toad fish.
