Instructor Prep Course

  This relaxed program is designed to refresh our candidates’ diving theory, rescue skills and water skills prior to the IDC. Diving theory is not a scheduled part of the IDC, as there is no new theory beyond what you learned in your Divemaster course. It is however a common place for IE stress, so we like to make sure you are confident.

    So, if it has been some time since you completed your Divemaster training or you would just like the extra practice, getting involved in the Prep Course will bring your knowledge and skills up to date while allowing you to concentrate on the IDC material. 

 Here is an idea of what we do during the IDC Prep Course:

• Classroom review of all 5 Theory modules

• Free set of prepared study notes for all 5 Theory modules

• Assistance during the 16 Knowledge Reviews

• Skill Circuit in confined water with Tips and Suggestions

• Rescue Scenario Workshop

• Hyperbaric Chamber Orientation & Dry Dive

• Coral Reef Ecology Seminar

   The IDC Prep course is a fun, relaxed and confidence building approach to getting ready for the IDC. Meet your fellow candidates, your Course Directors,  and feel at ease going on to your IDC. There is no charge for the prep course when taking your IDC. It is just our way of making sure you are ready for the IDC and can concentrate on the new information.
