Your teaching career is well underway, and you’re ready for the next step. IDC Staff Instructors assist in PADI Instructor Development Courses, mentoring instructor candidates and sharing the wisdom of your experience.

It shows a commitment to a career in diving.You demonstrate you know continuing education is a life long process.  Many dive shop and resort managers are IDC Staff Instructors, this can be an important step if you’re considering managing or owning a dive business. It’s also the next level required for those intending to pursue the ranking of Master Instructor and Course Director.

In this program you audit an IDC as a staff member and begin the process of developing your candidate evaluation skills. You also further refine your knowledge of dive theory, hone your demonstration skills to perfection, and learn about the logistics of an IDC.

Our facility is unmatched on the Island, we have the only indoor pool and the only hyperbaric chamber. We also have quality equipment, a large boat fleet, and experienced staff. We are environmentally conscious, hosting WSORC(Whale Shark and Oceanic Research Centre), act as a REEF field station, and are 100% AWARE, which means we only issue Project Aware certification cards.

We are a PADI CDC, which is the highest ranking a dive centre can achieve. We have two Course Directors on staff, which means expert advice is always at hand. We also run monthly IDCs, so scheduling your program is easy and convenient.
