PADI Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the primary full certification that entitles students to dive independently without instructor or divemaster supervision. The PADI Open Water course is a four day event that includes three basic elements; Knowledge Development, Confined water exercises and Open water certification dives.

Knowledge Development is crucial to gaining and understanding the basic knowledge of how to dive and dive safely. It consists of a video detailing all of the information and combines with the PADI Open Water manual so you can read and review your theory. For each of the five knowledge development sections, there are some questions to help you develop and master each of the required subjects. At the end of the knowledge section there is an Examination to show your mastery of the given subjects.

Confined Water, this is where you learn the physical motor skills that is needed to become a competent diver. We here at The College conduct all the primary training modules in our on-site pool ensuring security and safety. Because people vary in their ability to perform these skills we are able to provide you as much time as you require to gain complete success.

The PADI Open Water Certification Dive are what everyone has been waiting for. Diving amongst some of the world’s most beautiful coral reefs. Being able to see and interact with marine life that the majority only sees on the Discovery Channel. Repeating some of the exercises you previously learned in confined water, you will soon have the skills and confidence to be an entry level diver.

Upon completion of the course your certification will be processed online ensuring an immediate response, enabling you to continue with your holiday and dive some other fabulous places, or continue with your dive education.
