PADI Open Water Diver BOOK NOW!

Learn how to dive!
The PADI Open Water Diver course will lead you to a certification that allows you to dive with your buddy independently anywhere in the world!
Over the course of four days, your instructor will teach you the ins and outs of standard scuba diving equipment. You will learn the theory behind safe scuba diving and will eventually master all the skills necessary to become a PADI Open Water Diver, certified to dive to depths of 18m/60ft!
You will start off in our air conditioned class rooms for some basic knowledge development with your instructor, before diving into our indoor pool that same day to take your first steps into the world of underwater exploration. After some more knowledge development the next day, it is time to jump off our dock and finetune your skills!
On day three and four, the time has come to set foot on one of our spacious dive boats. The Neptune, The Tiburon or The Sea Sprite will take you to one of Utila's many wonderful dive sites where you will work with your instructor to learn how to move and navigate in the underwater world!
Because we limit our class sizes well below PADI limitations, you will have the most possible one-on-one time with your dive instructor, which allow you to really understand why they love scuba diving so much and what you can do to become the best scuba diver you can be!
This is why most Open Water divers at The Bay Islands College of Diving immediately continue their education (at discount prices) with the Advanced Open Water course with their instructor!
