The PADI Digital Underwater Photography specialty is a two dive course and is rated as one of the most exciting activities available. Here at BICD we will show you the ways of the pro’s, shooting up to increase your composition. Photo editing techniques on programs such as photoshop to further enhance your images.

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and the rise of digital underwater equipment has made it easier and more fun than ever. This course gets you going quickly with today’s modern digital equipment, whether you use a point- and-shoot camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros.

At BICD we have a professional photographer on staff and we will be glad to show you the most up to date techniques, systems and even let you use a variety of cameras underwater.

During this course you will learn:

  • How to choose the right underwater camera system for you
  • The PADI SEA method for getting great shots quickly
  • The three primary principles for good underwater photos
  • What are strobes
  • Flash usage underwater
  • Depth of field in your photos
  • Composition

This all includes all equipment, however miss-handling or damaging equipment will result in a further charge for repair or replacement! This equipment needs specific care so please follow all techniques carefully. We include a free fun dive upon completion, free one night accommodation, free T-shirt and a cd with your photo’s and the pro photos in a slideshow format.
