The PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Specialty here at BICD gives you the opportunity to be just like one of your childhood heroes!

Think of DPVs as underwater scooters. They offer a thrilling way to see a lot of underwater territory in a brief amount of time. They scoot you through the water without the need to kick.

Saving air, increasing bottom time, exploring more of what the reefs have to offer and
all whilst saving air. It is a very difficult task to find a downside to this mind blowing
specialty. The DPV’s are almost silent and so do not have much of an effect of the
critters and life you lay witness to on your immersions

This four dive specialty comes with expert instruction on usage, reef encounters,
minimizing the possibility of scaring life and maximizing close encounters with the
ecosystem.

During this course you will learn:

  • Diver propulsion vehicle dive planning organization, procedures, techniques problems and hazards
  • Equipment considerations
  • Diver etiquette and how to avoid harming fragile aquatic life
