Covering all basic scuba equipment maintenance, you will learn interesting background information about how your gear works, how it’s repaired and other information that helps you with your equipment investment.

A crucial element to be an effective professional in the diving industry! Also for those who are looking for a way to expand their knowledge beyond that of most in the scuba community. Enable possible employment as a repair specialist in a PADI center. This course will open doors throughout your years, and earn ethos wherever you dive.

Primarily learning theory from a dvd and instructor led classes, using various scuba systems and trying different configurations, reaching conclusions and applying your ideas to affective servicing. Learn how to:

  • Complete routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures, including equipment storage
  • Overcome common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures (includes a demonstration of repair procedures, practice and evaluation of your effectiveness
  • Gain simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new gear.

The more you know about how your dive gear works, the more comfortable you are with it, the better performance you get back from it and reduce the costs, as you can care for it yourself.

Upon completion you will be certified with our online system, and presented with a free T-shirt, and a free fun dive. Students must be aged 10, and be a min open water certification.
