Technical Diving is not for everyone but if you possess the proper prerequisites, you will find it a challenging but rewarding way to explore parts of the underwater world that are unaccessible to others. Technical diving in Utila is ideal because of the steep walls and seamounds that our island has to offer.

Tec 40

The Tec 40 Diver course is the first step into decompression diving. This means diving outside of conventional non-stop diving limits. During your training you will eventually learn to safely conduct limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40m/130ft.

Tec 45

Once you are comfortable with the Tec 40 diver level and you have demonstrated your abilities as a decompression diver, the time has come to develop your skills to the next level. Learn how to make decompression dives to a depth of 45m/145ft, introducing enriched air gases to accellerate your decmpression.

Tec 50

You will use up to two enriched air gases or pure oxygen for decompression, while making decompression dives to a maximum depth of 50m/165 feet. This Tec 50 diver course is the pinnacle of the Tec Deep Diver Technical course stream.

Tec 40/45/50 Package

This program combines the Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50 diver courses into one long program. You will meet the certification requirements for each level and ultimately learn how to plan and execute decompression dives to a maximum depth of 50m/165ft, using multiple gases and oxygen to accellerate your decompression.

Tec Deep Instructor

This instructor training course is a demanding 5-day event (longer if needed to meet all the requirements) will assess your personal technical diving knowledge and skills and will develop your demonstration abilities in regards to technical diving skills, your presentation and evaluation skills and your technical dive planning abilities.

TEC TRIMIX 65

Extend your depth range the right way with a blend of helium, oxygen & nitrogen (trimix). The Tec Trimix 65 course introduces you to using trimix down to a maximum depth of 65 metres/210 feet.

TEC TRIMIX 90

The Trimix diver course dives to 70, 80 and 90 meters are heavy and intense but with the guidance of our team, you will learn how to plan and execute them. This certification truly is the gateway to unlimited exploration.
