Advanced Underwater Photography Course
 

This course provides an opportunity to learn to use and apply advanced camera skills as well as learning more in depth details about an underwater camera setup. You will be using a compact professional and powerful Sony a6000 mirrorless camera along with a professional Fantasea housing. You are also welcome to use your own camera gear. 

 

You will be able to take photos using manual camera settings - aperture, shutter speed, and ISO as well as understanding the importance of underwater lighting. You will use top of the range strobes from Sea and Sea and video lights by Kraken Sport lights. 

 

Additionally, you will learn digital media workflow and how to edit your images. This course will also cover important underwater composition concepts including wide angle, macro, rule-of-thirds and golden ratio. You will finish with beautiful pictures and videos that are ready to share! 

 

The Advanced Underwater Photography course is experience based. This means you will spend most of your time with a camera in your hands and scuba tank on your back. After a day of diving we will debrief and discuss the images captured. You will learn how to upload, edit and export your images using programmes such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic.
