Master Scuba Diver

Master Scuba Diver is one of the best ways to expand your knowledge and dive skills! This 5 to 10 day course is the ‘black-belt’ for recreational divers. This program allows you to achieve 5 speciality ratings and get in as many fun dives while you are here that you can!

More Recreational Diving

You have the passion. You want to join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving. You want to live the dive lifestyle and explore the underwater world and go places and see things you have never experienced. Absolutely! Do it by becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver – a rating that puts you in a class of distinction – writing your ticket to endless adventure and opportunities through experience and scuba training that sets you apart.

What is a Master Scuba Diver?

Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you’ve spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures.

Every diver, who is at least 12 years old, should aim for Master Scuba Diver.

Take the Master Scuba Diver Challenge

To complete this challenge it is necessary to complete the PADI Rescue Diver Course, have 50 completed dives and hold 5 specialties. A little short on your logged dives? We include 10 free fun dives to get you closer to your goal. You can select the specialties you wish to complete from a wide range of categories, from Deep to Full Face Mask. Head to our Specialties page to see the exhaustive list of what is available to you! Self-Reliant and Sidemount are options but due to time and equipment considerations require a $99 add on each.

All dive staff here at The College of Diving hold a Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating so you can be assured that you’ll be receiving the utmost in diver education. Our training stems from both formal training and first hand experience so you’ll be learning from our instructors who have lived and breathed what they are passing on!
